What is SPA-H steel
SPA-H weathering steel is a low-alloy structural steel. Its chemical composition contains not only a certain amount of carbon (C), but also other elements such as silicon (Si), manganese (Mn), and phosphorus (P), Sulfur (S), etc. Therefore, it is not simply a carbon steel, but a low alloy steel. SPA-H weathering steel is widely used in construction, manufacturing, mines, railways, bridges and other fields due to its excellent weather resistance and high-strength performance.
What are the products that can directly replace SPA-H weathering steel?
SPA-H does not directly correspond to the Chinese national standard. SPA-H is a weathering steel grade specified in the Japanese standard JIS G3125, which is suitable for structural components with high durability requirements. In China, SPA-H weathering steel is mainly used in steel structure bridges, high-rise buildings, steel structure buildings, port facilities and marine engineering and other fields. The standards of other countries may have regulations corresponding to SPA-H, such as the A588 weathering steel specified in the US ASTM standard, which is similar to the performance of SPA-H weathering steel to a certain extent.
