Processes used to manufacture large flanges: cutting, turning, drilling
Large flanges refer to flanges that exceed the dimensions specified by the relevant state departments. Generally refers to the flange size above DN2000. Such products are all welded products without threaded buttons. The specifications often used for threaded products are DN15-DN100.
In the national flange standard GB/T9119-2010, the largest size among the pressure standards of 0.25MPa to 1.6Mpa is DN2000. When it reaches the 2.5MPa pressure standard, the maximum is DN800. BBN can make customized production according to customer's needs.
Large flanges are three production processes: forging, rolling and splicing. If the product size is too large, it can only be rolled and spliced.
Theoretical formula for large flange (carbon steel):
1. Divide (outer diameter - inner diameter) by 2 to get the result.
2. Reuse (outer diameter - the above result) X the above result X0.0246615X thickness
After the above two steps, the theoretical weight of the large flange is obtained.
For example: outer diameter 2600mm, inner diameter 2400mm, thickness 50mm large flange carbon steel flange ( 2600-2400)/2=100mm
(2600-100)x100x0.0246615x0.05=308.2688KG
