Anchor is the equipment used when a ship is moored. It is generally made of iron or steel. One section is fixed on the ship with an iron chain, and the other end is in the shape of a barbed claw, which is thrown to the bottom or the shore to stabilize the ship. Modern anchors are made of cast steel or forged steel, including rod anchor, rodless anchor, large grip anchor and special anchor.
