Stainless steel pressure fermentor Basic conditions
Mechanical stirred stainless steel pressure fermentor is one of the common types of fermentation plant. It uses the function of mechanical agitator to fully mix air and mash and promote oxygen dissolution in mash, so as to ensure the supply of oxygen required by microbial growth, reproduction and fermentation. In order for fermentation to take place, the stainless steel fermenter must meet the following basic requirements
(1) Stainless steel pressure fermentor should have a suitable diameter to height ratio. The ratio of fermenter height to diameter is about 1.7 ~ 4 times, the longer the tank body, the higher the utilization rate of oxygen.
(2) Stainless steel pressure fermentor can withstand certain pressure. Since there is certain pressure (air pressure and hydraulic pressure) and temperature in the fermenter during disinfection and normal operation, each component of perch body should have certain strength and be able to withstand certain pressure.
(3) The stirring ventilation device of the stainless steel pressure fermentor can make the gas liquid fully mixed to ensure the necessary dissolved oxygen of the fermenter.
(4) Fermenter should have enough cooling area. A large amount of heat is released during microbial growth and metabolism. In order to control the temperature required at different stages of fermentation, adequate cooling area should be installed.
(5) The fermenter should be as far as possible to reduce the dead Angle, avoid dirt accumulation, sterilization can be thorough, avoid bacteria
(6) The shaft seal of the environment mixer should be tight to minimize leakage.
